Nature of suffering and evil

The ignorant indifference of the victimizer is in total contrast to the passionate suffering of the victim... to fully understand suffering makes someone unwilling to cause it.

To possess an evil personality requires the compartmentalization of understanding of the suffering of others... that applies to both people and societies. Shutting out of thoughts about what your own actions have caused, or portraying the victim as the victimizer in the media, so that the true victimization is seen as acceptable.
