KZ Tandingan @Singer 2018
Since Singer 2018 in China was launched, my bet is KZ Tandingan.
Her first performance wowed everyone. The several times top 1 performer and Hollywood singer Jessie J out ranked by KZ whose from the Philippines.
Week 5, she performed her owen rendition of Rolling in the deep by Adelle. it was stated that the song itself is very hard to sing as the song itself is high. The bars was set by Adelle, what do we expect. But to my joy, she got the highest rank!
Filipinos are very proud for sure. A contender beat Jessie J, the Jessie J? She is small but terrible singer! ♥
Week 6, She made 101% effort to learn mandarin and sing one of the most emotional heart-breaking song for the Chinese audience. It was well commended however, her rank dropped to 6th the week after. The hurts you never knew is a total heart ache song. I cried watching her. KZ's face and singing skill gave justice to the song. Amazing!
Week 7 She admit she left stressed as the night before the performance of week 6, the management changed her prepared song and she ahs to double time rehearsing the song given which luckily she is familiar of. The Say Something. She thought she won't make it for next week as the crown is not as alive and loud as her 2 previous performances. But that week elimination ranked her to 4th from the previous 6th place.
Yesterday, for week 8, she set aside love song and give a taste of her rock music. She sang Real gone and upon watching her performing, the judges and Chinese audience' face were so alive and grasp the rock and roll moment on stage! I love KZ Tandingan since she joined X Factor Philippines. She has her unique singing style that makes her stand out from the rest of Filipino singers. Salute to her.
