Eskom and the Cycle of Debt

in #southafrica5 years ago

South Africa's national electricity provider is in trouble, and the latest idea is to use the national pension fund to reduce the debt of the enterprise. Oh and by the way Eskom is in almost half a TRILLION Rand of debt, and operates at a loss (has been for years). I don't know about you, but I think that in the realm of bright ideas to improve electricity supply to a country, this is definitely not the only possible solution available to us.
