The Juno Mission
Finally after 5 years, the Juno mission arrived to Jupiter where it has uncovered many interesting things. One very interesting feature of Jupiter is that it has many cyclones the size of Earth. It also has a very large magnetic field around it. It also seems to be releasing plumes of ammonia.
The magnetic field of Jupiter is very odd and misshapen. Some areas are very strong while others are very weak. The field is created by electrified liquid hydrogen in Jupiter's core, just like Earth's field is created by the molten iron at it's core.
Unfortunately, a glitch in Juno's data system has slowed down the data gathering process. With Juno in orbit, it will enable the study of how Jupiter's magnetic field changes.
