Space & Superman!

I have always been fascinated by the Space. So have the millions of people. The way it is. The Unimaginable distance that is there in it. The Plethora of Planets, Stars, Suns, Moons and all the Celestial bodies that are in it. The known and the mostly unknown. The Hubble Ultra-Deep Field (HUDF) image is an image of a small region in space that contains 10,000 galaxies. Look at the image below.

Everything in this photo is a galaxy, be it just a dot. It’s not even planet or solar system. It’s a bloody galaxy having millions of stars in it. Now, to say that there isn’t a single one planet where there isn’t a civilization as advanced as us or even more advanced than us, would be an over exaggeration. And this is just a small region. Let me put that into perspective, this whole image is actually one thirteen-millionth of the total area of our sky. There are more than 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. It is a spherical region of the universe which consists of all the matter that can be observed from Earth. Apparently!

As the light will travel through space from the more distant places of Universe, the understanding of expansion of universe will take place. Outer space is indeed a fascinating place. Too bad we are not like Superman. I would have travelled across all the planets then! :P
