La Rana Phyllobates Terribilis🐸🐸

Vengo con un nuevo post, en la cual voy a hablarles brevemente acerca de una rana que me llama mucho la atención.
En el mundo hay aproximadamente 4.300 especies de ranas, pero hay unas 120 especies de Ranas Dardos las cueles son únicas y a la vez son las más especiales y peligrosas y su color es un claro indicador para los depredadores y a las personas que no se las pueden tocar ni comer.
Pero cual es la más venenosa entre estas especies.? LA PHYLLOBATES TERRIBILIS.
Rana Flecha o Rana Dardo.
Una rana adulta puede producir una dosis de 5 gramos de veneno capas de matar a 10 o 20 personas. Un promedio de 15.000 personas por gramo.
Esta rana es 20 veces más toxicas entre las Ranas Dardo y su tamaño es de 5 a 7 centímetros y su color varia entre el amarillo brillante y naranja.
Los indígenas de Colombia usaban el veneno segregado de la piel de este anfibio, así como de otras ranas venenosas, para envenenar los dardos de sus cerbatanas, es por eso que llevan este peculiar nombre, "Ranas Dardos."
Su veneno que es llamado BATRACHOTOXINA contiene toxinas que paraliza los nervios, produciendo insuficiencia cardíaca y respiratoria. Y su veneno puede durar unos dos años alrededor.
En el área de la medicina la toxina de esta rana es investigada para poder usarse como antibióticos y también para prevenir y curar la VIH.
Muchas de las especies de ranas incluyendo esta, están en un gran peligro debido a un Hongo llamado QUITRIDIO. este hongo ataca directamente a la pie de las ranas y las mata rápidamente asfixiando. No se sabe de donde proviene y es una epidemia global.
Las ranas han estado en la tierra con éxito durante más de 250 millones de años y fueron nuestros primeros antepasados que se aventuraron fuera del agua a explorar un mundo nuevo. Todas las ranas cumplen un papel fundamental en el medio ambiente.
