Vyšehrad Praga-República Checa/Vyšehrad Prague-Czech Republic
Vysehrad es una de las seis ciudades originarias de Praga para mediados del siglo XI, poco conocida por los turistas, a pesar de contar con una de las leyendas mas misteriosas de la ciudad una de ellas asegura que Vysherad fue la primera sede de los príncipes checos y de la legendaria princesa Libusa.
Según www.elpensante.com la leyenda relata:
La mítica princesa pagana, Libuse, hija del padre de la patria checa, Cech, eligió una colina sobre la que se divisa el río Moldava y lanzó una profecía que perdura aún entre la tierra y el cielo de la eterna Praga: “Aquí nacerá una ciudad cuya fama y gloria llegará hasta las estrellas”. Así fue y así lo cuentan las leyendas checas. Pero en realidad, entre aquellas rocas, nació también uno de los lugares más enigmáticos y simbólicos que hay en toda Europa: Vysehrad.

Esta ciudad esta rodeada de un gran muro, asi como su entrada nos hace recordar la epoca medieval, desdela parte superior del muro que la bordea se puede caminar y rodear a toda la ciudad y desde donde particularmente tome varias fotografias que les muestro a continuación:

La Rotonda Romantica de San Martín es una iglesia de forma circular que se encuentra en la ciudad de Vysehrad, es la de mayor tamaño de las tres que existen en Praga y la más antigua, su origen se remonta a mediados del siglo XI en la época del primer rey checo Vratislao II y su nombre se debe a un decano llamado Martín, quien donó el dinero para la construcción de la misma producto de lograr que intermediara para el matrimonio de la nieta de rey checo con el hijo del emperador bizantino.
The Rotunda of San Martin is a circular church that is located in the city of Vysehrad, is the largest of the three that exist in Prague and the oldest, its origin dates back to the middle of the eleventh century at the time of the First Czech king Vratislao II and his name is due to a dean named Martin, who donated the money for the construction of the same product to get him to mediate for the marriage of the Czech king's granddaughter with the son of the Byzantine emperor.
La iglesia neogótica de san Pedro y san Pablo cuenta con más de 900 años desde su fundación, debido a un incendio fue reconstruida a finales del siglo XIX y la última remodelación fue en 1903 dejandola con el estilo neogótico actual.
