✅ La naturaleza en mi país # 2. 🌺 Inflorescencia de la Allamanda cathartica (Hendersonii)

Aprecio mucho tu visita y curación. Con cariño comparto fotografías de la Allamanda cathartica, seguramente hayas visto decenas de imágenes similares en otros post y artículos on line; no obstante, mi propósito es aportar un poco de conocimiento al existente sobre este género de arbusto siempreverde, erecto, trepador o semi trepador según el entorno natural (silvestre o intervenido) en que se encuentre.
Cómo puede verse, esta es una planta angiosperma. Se llama angiosperma porque tiene capacidad inflorescente, es decir que puede florar. Estas flores siempre están acompañadas de elegantes estructuras laminares (bráctea) foliáceos que se encuentran ubicados en la parte externa inferior de la flor, donde se origina el caliz. Éste se encuentra dividido en cinco sépalos que difieren poco en cuanto a medida, ya que parecen ser del mismo tamaño.
Estas flores de color amarillo tenue anaranjado con algunas líneas rojizas en la garganta y parte baja de la corola cilíndrica infundibuliforme, soporta los cinco lóbulos obovado-truncados. He aquí la diferencia entre esta especie Allamanda cathartica de variedad "Hendersonii" con la Allamanda cathartica "compacta", la cual tiene los sépalos oblícuos con terminación puntiaguda y absolutamente separados, tienen forma de estrella. Las hojas son láminas membranosas acuminadas, color verde mate, aunque al entrar en contacto con la luz solar muestra perfil lustroso en la parte superior y median, atenuando hacia la base. Su valor ornamental es significativo, posee propiedades terapéuticas y diuréticas. Entre sus propiedades bioquímicas más relevantes se encuentran flavonoides (quercetina y kaempferol). Fuente
