Y cuando uno está preocupado por eso, no puede abogar por la violencia Porque a través de la violencia puedes matar a un asesino, pero no puedes matar los asesinatos. A través de la violencia puedes matar a un mentiroso, pero no puedes establecer la verdad. A través de la violencia puedes matar a personas que odian, pero no puedes matar el odio a través de la violencia. La oscuridad no puede apagar la oscuridad; sólo la luz puede hacer eso.
Y les digo. También he decidido estar en el amor, porque se que el amor es definitivamente la única respuesta a los problemas de la humanidad. Y voy a hablar de ello donde sea que vaya. Pueden incluso dar sus bienes para alimentar a los pobres; pueden regalar grandes donaciones a la beneficencia; y pueden destacar por su filantropía; pero si no tienen amor, su caridad no significa nada. Pueden incluso entregar sus cuerpos a las llamas y morir como mártires, y su sangre derramada puede ser un símbolo de honor para generaciones venideras, y miles de personas pueden alabaros como a uno de los héroes más grandes de la historia; pero si no tienen amor, su sangre habrá sido derramada en vano.
