Living in the Mountains Vs. The City - What really gives you peace of soul and mind
Many people have always wondered, ¨What`s it like living by the mountains, and how does it contrast to living somewhere in the city? ¨ From my personal experience for living in both areas, I can say there is a lot to compare from waking up to a busy, loud area, to waking up to much more quiet, somewhat peaceful area. I’ve had the opportunity to live on both places for very long, but let me tell you… I do not need to knit pick and think too hard on the different lifestyles. Such as the surroundings, and the view.
To start off, the surroundings. In the city, it’s a busy area as you know, so you can see a lot of restaurants, stores, etc. Very convenient for places to shop, eat, hangout with friends or family and walk around. Can’t necessarily do that when you live so close to the mountainside. There are benefits to living in the city because everything is so close to each other, and the closest store or place to eat is like a mile or two away. However, it is quiet, less crowded, and it’s always an adventure!
Furthermore, we talk about the view, there isn’t that much to say. In a city, you see building every block you turn too, you see pedestrians, cars and motorcycles everywhere. In the mountains, all you see is that. Not to mention farms and other houses nearby, but not much else. It’s just amazing to look at! I can stare about it for hours if given the chance, it gives me a sense of freedom, something a city can`t give me.
That’s my personal take on contrasting two very different areas. Overall I have really enjoyed living on the mountainside and I really wanted to give you a little notion of how it’s like, I feel more comfortable here than I do in the city. Nothing to take away from the city, it`s a nice area, but if I had to choose between the two, I would stay in the mountains.
Thanks for reading and all the support, question: which place do you like better, the city or the mountains? Remember any comment, suggestion or idea is well received. Thanks a lot again and I will see you soon!
¡Muchas gracias nuevamente y espero verlos pronto!

Great article! Made me think myself, which one I would rather have? I always thought of myself as a city boy, and have always lived in rural places. But now that I got into meditating, I find it hard to find a place to do so. Sometimes I wonder how awesome it would be to meditate in the mountains.
Thanks a lot for the comment, well I don't meditate but I can tell you is very relaxing!
The first photo is a good spot to do yoga and breathing exercise like early in the morning nice I can feel that foggy morning so cool! gracias seniorito... stay awesome!
