Un hombre frente al mar
muere con el corazón en las manos
eleva caracoles
se levanta de las profundidades
le tiemblan las manos
frente al mar no hay límites
se es un habitante perenne
un hombre frente al mar está solo
visita su niñez
pero el mar frente al hombre es escombros
sangre y llanto
la vida cargando tanta muerte
una mirada enrojecida en la noche
frente al mar: los cuerpos, la muchedumbre
las palabras... marchan
pero un hombre frente al mar sostiene
el corazón y la muerte.

después del domingo habré ido a los
infiernos
el sol nace de mis delirios
quema mis rastros
hay calor en mi silencio
Si vienen mujer
diles que sólo llego por las noches... herido
cruzo los umbrales como el que jamás llega
descanso, tomo un baño, desayuno
Si se van, no digas adiós, chao o hasta luego
—dales la espalda—
nunca me verán con la sobriedad necesaria
Si vuelven, pregúntales por mí
porque nunca he estado en sitio alguno
porque voy y vengo de los infiernos
Si vuelven... ábreles la puerta
los brazos
el alba
la noche si es necesario.
