Mitología asturiana: El Busgosu

in #spanish6 years ago

It is very hairy and its head has a pair of large horns, it also has legs that end in cloven hoof.
It lives in caves and forests. He is the lord of all the animals and the trees of the forest. He does not look kindly on the woodcutters who are not content with collecting the fallen wood from the trees and he feels a special rejection towards the hunters. He is therefore, sir and defender of the forest at the same time. If someone gets lost in their domains, the Busgosu does not hesitate to show him the way back to the village.
