Viajar es uno de mis planes favoritos. Aunque no lo hago muy a menudo, me encanta respirar otros aires y conocer nuevos lugares. Es realmente increíble que en mi país, Colombia, tenemos un montón de lugares maravillosos que visitar y la mayoría de nosotros no nos damos la oportunidad de hacerlo; estamos en el segundo país más biodiverso del mundo y yo, viviendo en medio de esta belleza natural, a penas y conozco el 10% de él. ¡Por eso decidí esforzarme por viajar más!

Hoy les comparto un pequeño viaje que hice cerca a mi ciudad. Fuimos a Guatavita, decidimos acampar y como sorpresa ¡le regalé un viaje en parapente! Fue muy divertido y el paisaje es maravilloso. ¡Acompáñenme!

Travel is one of my favourite things to do. Even though I don't do it really often, I love to breath new atmospheres and know new places. It is really unbelievable that in my country, Colombia, we have a bunch of amazing places to visit and most of us just don't give ourselves the chance to do it; we are the 2nd most biodiverse country in the world and I, living in the middle of this green beauty, barely know 10% of it. That's why I decided to effort to travel more!

Today I'm sharing with you a little trip I did near to my city. I went to a little town called Guatavita, me and my girlfriend decided to go to camp and as a surprise I gave her a ticket to paragliding! It was so fun and the view was amazing. Join me here!

¡Comenzando la subida! | Starting the way up!

Nos tomó un mes ir. No por la distancia, en realidad el lugar está a una hora de la ciudad, sino por el clima; el instructor de parapente nos canceló 3 citas porque el viento no era lo suficientemente veloz o porque hacía un clima lluvioso. De todas formas fuimos y ¡fue fantástico!.

It took us a month get there. Not because of the distance, actually it is 1 hour far from the city, but because of the weather; we had like 3 appointments with the paragliding instructor but he cancel because the wind wasnt fast enough or it was raining. Anyway, we finally got there and it was fantastic!

¡Fue un largo camino! ☺ It was a large way up! ☺

¡Hora de volar! | Time to fly!

Tan pronto llegamos nos preparamos para volar. Yo estaba nerviosa, pero Tatiana temblaba como un bebé jajaja aquí pueden ver mi despegue...

As soon as we got ready we start the fun! I was nervious, but Tatiana was shaking like a baby jajaja Here you can see my take off...

¡Estoy volando! I'm flying!

Después de que volamos, camino a la avenida principal para volver a casa, tomé esta foto de Guatavita de lejos, un hermoso pueblo que quedaba al otro lado del Embalse de Tominé de donde estábamos. Nos quedamos allá una semana después, cuando fuimos a acampar.

After we flew we were in the way down to the principal avenue to take the bus back home and we could see Guatavita, a beautiful town that was at the other side of the Tomine Reservoir. We stayed there a week later and camp.

Como les comenté, una semana después fuimos a Guatavita a acampar. Encendimos una fogata, comimos masmelos y papas con emparedados, la pasamos muy bien.

As I told you, a week later we went to Guatavita to Camp. We turn on a wood fire and ate millows and potato chips with sandwiches, we had a great time.
