Como hacer unos gemelos Steem // Making up Steem twins

El trabajo de joyería artesanal es bastante laborioso. Recientemente he tenido la oportunidad de iconografiarlo cuando Carlos hizo mis primeros gemelos . Podéis visitar la página del joyero en http://carlosmoneva.com/

Me resultó interesante. Os explico como los hizo:
Lo primero hay que cortar el latón y pegarlo con otra chapa cortada circular de latón un poco mas grande (ver el vídeo). Hay que tener mucho cuidado y ser muy minucioso porque la sereta es finísima y cualquier error puede obligar a repetir todo el proceso desde el principio.
Luego, hay que darles mucho calor para fundirlos y soldarlos. Después, se le une la punta de atrás y la chapa posterior.
Con el gemelo ya hecho, hay que proceder a pulirlo todo muy bien para darles un baño de plata.
Posteriormente, se pintan las barras azules.
Con estos gemelos originales, Carlos creo un molde. Los sucesivos encargos son mas fáciles, pues se fabrican fundiendo plata en el mole. Ya no hay latón.
Aun así, lleva trabajo porque hay que pulirlos bien y corregir varias imperfecciones que siempre se producen.
Es un proceso artesanal que, si bien es cierto que tal vez no tenga el acabado de un proceso mecanizado industrial, tiene sin embargo el valor de ser un trabajo único y personalizado. No hay dos piezas iguales.
Hoy en día, en éste mundo automatizado, lo artesanal es un valor en alza.

Cuando me hice la foto con los gemelos y surgieron los encargos no quise desvelar que los había hecho mi hijo Carlos. Tal vez lo debía haber hecho, pero yo quería que, si se producían encargos, fuera por el propio interés suscitado por el producto, no por ser elaborados por el hijo de un amigo Steemit. No se, para mi fue un dilema. También, medité que quería que el protagonista fuera Carlos, no yo.

El caso es que ahora estoy contento porque veo que os han gustado y los mostráis orgullosos a vuestros amigos. Espero que ahora que habéis observado como se elaboran y el trabajo que lleva quedéis mas encantados todavía.

Maybe I should have done it, but I wanted that, if commissions were produced, it was because of the self-interest caused by the product, not because it was elaborated by the son of a friend Steemit.
