La catedral de barquisimeto esta ubicada al centro de la ciudad con décadas de antigüedad, esta catedral esta en la toda la A.V Venezuela y tiene un estilo colonial con vidrios en el techo y asientos de completa madera.
Esta catedral es muy famosa pues aquí se grabo la canción de andas en mi cabeza de chino y nacho canción reconocida mundialmente.
Ademas de ello esta iglesia se realizan infinidad de graduaciones de todos los estudiantes de la ciudad barquisimetana tanto de universidades como de liceos.
Cuando la iglesia esta cerrada esta abierta para los ciclistas y patineteros del lugar que pasan un rato agradable en el sitio
