Soccer streaks, to identify possible betting opportunities

AC Milan - Napoli

AC Milan remain strong contenders for the Serie A (SA) top four, but face a mammoth task against Napoli. Can the hosts take revenge for the 2-3 loss in the reverse fixture this season?
That loss was on matchday one, and Milan have subsequently lost just twice in ten matches (W4, D4, L2) leading into this game. Milan, with the fourth-best SA defence (20), need to be wary of the threat from below – Sampdoria in eighth are just four points behind.
Home form has been middling, though, with just two wins in their last five league games (W2, D1, L2). Their scoring rate has fallen too, averaging 2.4 home goals in their first five fixtures, but only 0.8 in their next five.
Napoli remain in an island of their own with first-placed Juventus nine-points ahead, and Inter seven points behind. They have lost just once since the start of October 2018 (W10, D2, L1) and have the league’s third-best attack (39) and defence (18).
Only Juve picked up more SA away points this season than Napoli (18), who have four wins in five SA trips (W4, L1). Five of their nine SA away trips have been determined by a single goal, four in favour of Napoli.
Players to watch: Suso is even more important to Milan’s cause now (post Gonzalo Higuain exit), and will look to add to his five league goals. Arkadiusz Milik (NAP), meanwhile, has four goals in his last three club games.
Stat attack: Milan have been losing just once at half-time in their ten SA home games.
Milan have conceded in nine of their ten SA home games, while Napoli have scored in seven of their nine SA trips.
Thirteen of Napoli’s 39 SA goals (33%) came after the 75th minute.
Napoli have lost just once in their last ten SA H2H fixtures (W7, D2, L1), back in December 2014.
