Well after a year that seemed to have flown by, its that time of year again! The time where all of your immediate and extended family come together to exchange gifts, spike egg nog, and mend any egregious disagreements!
It's truly my favorite time of year, which wouldn't be complete without my long list of fire Christmas music! I'm all about sharing Christmas spirit so I'll share my top five favorite songs with each and everyone of you!
#5 It's Cold Outside (Glee Version)
Although this song's lyrics are kinda sketchy, I can't ignore the pure talent that comes from this amazing cast! In the original rendition, the male part is in a far lower key, while the female's part is soprano!
What drew me in to this version was that fact that both parts were sung in a higher key, which completely changed the game!

#4 This Christmas by Donnie Hathaway
Now this is a pure classic that will never fade! Chris Brown had a noteworthy attempt back in 2010, but didn't even get close!
Donnie's Rendition is the perfect mix of upbeat soul, mixed with smooth vocals! After you listen, it's going to be hard not smiling and dancing with your loved ones on Christmas Day!
#3 May Christmas Bring You Happiness by Luther Vandross
Now I'm taking it all the way back to 1976 where the king, Luther Vandross blessed us with the most joyful feel good Christmas song around!
This song is upbeat, but chill at the same time, due to the smooth beat and high energy vocals! If this song doesn't put a smile on your face, your not human!
#2 Jingle Bells by BeBe & CeCe
My oldest Christmas memory is waking up to tree surrounded by presents and this song blasting on repeat! As far as duets go, Bebe & CeCe will forever be the reigning champs because they managed to turn this old bland song into an absolute classic!
This is what happens when you mix good chemistry, soul, and the smoothest vocals around into a holiday classic! I literally can't stop dancing trying to write this post!
I used to day dream that I could sing like BeBe, but even if pigs could fly, I don't think I would be lucky enough to find a talent like CeCe as a partner.
You never know with Christmas miracles and all of that haha, but I'll just let them kill it until that happens!
#1 Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer by DMX
For the number one spot, we are going to take a sharp left turn into an instant hood classic! Honestly this is more funny than anything, but after all of the aggression passes, I do feel a bunch of Christmas Cheer!
Not much else to say about this one, but DMX is the only one who could have pulled this off haha! After you listen, Rudolf will never be the same!
