Let yourself to feel ! Learn emotional empathy!
This is not just mambo-jumbo, tralala. All scientific evidence you can find out on google about empathy and love-kindness meditation.
*Emotional empathy: *
Wherever I go, wherever I turn I am talking about how much is important to let yourself to feel.
It will unlock so many things, it's just insane. People are not aware of what they are capable when they let themselves to feel.
We live in society where people get to used to lie themselves. We are thinking that feeling is for weak, or we think that certain feeling make us look "bad" or not right, and really often we are suppressing our feelings.
Do you know what is empathy? Maybe some of you herd about it, but do you know that if you were suppressing your feelings long time, and you do not understand them that CONCEPT empathy for you is just concept, it does not exist.
The same for blind person. What blind person sees? Not black! Nothing! The concept "seeing" does not exist for him.
If you never experienced empathy, you didn't experience whole new world of emotions. That means you are blind for that aspect of your life.
Be honest to yourself! That is the first step!
Sometimes we lied ourselves so much, that we are not sure when we are lying ourselves.
What is the best way to find out do you lie yourselves:
- You are complaining!
Complaining means that you are not talking about root of problem, whenever you talk about true problem, you will feel relief. - You are creating illusion that world is around you!
- You are trying to control other people!
- You have sense that you are special, by putting others down!
- You are blaming!
- You are playing victim card
If you feel something like this, again it's fine! There is reason why you feel how you feel, and you are right about how you feel. Don't have to think that you are bad if you feel on certain way, just feel it! Find it where it comes from by making yourself to feel more and more same emotion. Follow it and trust your intuition <3
My experience:
I was 2 weeks reflecting and meditating about my emotions, and I let them all flow. First time when I felt empathy I was surprised, because I never felt it before. Gratitude for world increased a lot, and much understanding, and deep knowing that everybody have his own path. I started to care! Again, words are just words, you have to experience
it to truly know what it is.
Also love-kindness meditation helped a lot, but first I cleaned all negativity from me so I cried a lot.
