A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
WORDS ARE POWERFUL TOOL, THAT CAN MAKE OR BREAK SOMEONE. SO WE HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE WORDS THAT COME OUT FROM US. LET US THINK FIRST BEFORE WE SPEAK, SPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE ANGRY. LET US PAUSE FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THINK BEFORE WE SPEAK. WE HAVE TO ASK OURSELVES IF THE WORDS WE WILL SAY CAN HELP BOOST SOMEONE'S CHARACTER OR CAN DISCOURAGE THEM?

LET US BE QUICK TO LISTEN AND SLOW TO SPEAK. CHOOSE THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY, BECAUSE WE CAN NOT ERASE WHAT WE HAVE SAID AND OR DELETE. THE BIBLE EVEN SAYS THAT THERE IS POWER IN OUR WORDS. SO, LET US BE CAREFUL WHAT WE SAY. OUR VERSE OF THE DAY IS A REMINDER FOR US TO CHOOSE OUR ANSWER TO SOMEONE WHO MIGHT BE ANGRY. IF WE CHOOSE GENTLE WORDS IT MAY TURN AWAY HIS WRATH, BUT IF OUR WORDS ARE HARSH THEN IT WILL STIR UP ANGER.

I KNOW THAT IT TAKES DISCIPLINE FOR US TO PAUSE FOR A WHILE AND THINK FIRST BEFORE WE SPEAK. THIS IS SPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE MAD. DO NOT SPEAK THE WORDS THAT WILL MAKE US REGRET BECAUSE WE HAVE BROKEN PRECIOUS RELATIONSHIPS DUE TO THE RECKLESS WORDS THAT CAME OUT FROM OUR MOUTH. OFTEN TIMES HARSH WORDS ARE SHARPER THAN SWORD BECAUSE THEY ARE SPOKEN CARELESSLY.

LIFE IS SHORT, SO WE BETTER BE BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS RATHER THAN COUNTING ENEMIES. CHOOSE THE RIGHT AND GENTLE WORDS WHICH WE GATHER IN OUR MINDS BEFORE WE RELEASE THEM IN OUR MOUTH. GENTLE WORDS BUILD FRIENDSHIP BUT HARSH WORDS DESTROY THEM. SO MY FRIEND, THINK FIRST BEFORE YOU SPEAK...GOD BLESS!
