Was Too Tired

I decided to change something. Instead of waking up after 4 hours of sleep every morning, I will wake up in 6 hours. I decided to do this because of yesterday's morning.

Like I've said in my post on Day 62, I woke up around 2 hours before I usually wake up, and I saw some hallucinations and colors. Plus, I almost became lucid by doing the FILD method, but I got a bit scared when I started entering the vibrational stage.

Well, yesterday, I didn't even hear the alarm and I didn't remember any of my dreams. The day before I played basketball for like 4 hours and I was really tired by the end of the day, so I couldn't even hear the alarm, LOL.

I had a very busy day yesterday as well and was tired by the end of the day again. But, I did manage to wake up when the alarm went off this time.

Though, I wasn't able to do any techniques. I felt so tired... I tried to do the SSILD method, but I actually fell asleep on my back.

Laying on my back is the most secure way to NOT fall asleep for me. If I doze off while I'm on my back, that means I'm extremely fatigued.

I slept for over 12 hours today. I even went to sleep 2 hours earlier than usual to have enough rest. Well, at least I feel really refreshed today.

I thought 12+ hours of sleep will make me feel like shit, because that always happens... But, for some reason I feel pretty much amazing, LOL.

My dreams still weren't very vivid today, but I did manage to write down some details...

Lost in The Casino

My dream memory begins when I was at an event. Not sure what kind of event it was, but there were a lot of people. I was in the crowd.

After a while, we were all waiting for a basketball match. Apparently Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant were going to play 1v1.

I have no idea why, but they were juggling around 5 balls each.

Apparently, that's how they get ready for a game... By juggling! Anyway, there was an hour left until the match starts.

We decided to go to a casino, which was right next to us. Who's "we"? I was with 2 friends now, while at the beginning I wasn't with anyone.

We entered the casino and it looked really weird. It had 2 floors and it was so simple, like a normal house. One of my friends started playing and the other one didn't know how to do it.

He inserted a coin into a machine, but he failed to notice that the machine is already taken and someone is playing on it. This situation felt sooo awkward. I started laughing, because he looked like a complete fool.

Then, I said to my friends that there's way better games upstairs. When we went there, my friends turned into other people. I don't remember who they were, but in the dream, they were my friends, LOL.

Anyway, we were looking for those "better games" I talked about, but I couldn't find them. I felt really lost. I kept on going through the same places, searching for the games.

But, I wasn't able to find them no matter what. To me, it felt like there were really better games somewhere, but they vanished into thin air, and it felt like the whole universe is playing tricks on me...

I have no idea why I didn't ask myself if I'm dreaming or not.

Then, my recall is lost for some time, until I was at the event again. Yet again, with a different person. Yup, it was no longer 2 people with me. I don't remember much of what happened next, and I woke up moments later anyway.

Some Dream Interpretations

In my dream I was in a casino. What could that possibly mean? Here's what I've found:

If you dream about a casino, this is a sign of good fortune. It represents the risk involved in achieving good luck, which results in the quick and straightforward acquisition of money. (Source)

Most dream interpretations that I've found focused on the activities in the casino, like playing slots or cards.

Since I didn't even play at the casino, I was just hanging out with my friends and watching them play, I don't know what's the best interpretation for it.

But as always, I chose a positive interpretation, LOL. I like signs of good fortune :P

Next, I was lost in my dream (searching for better games). What could that possibly mean?

Well, this one is a bit tricky. I wasn't able to find any interpretations that explained such a situation. Most interpretations focus on being lost, which supposedly is a negative thing.

But, I wasn't entirely lost, so to say. I was just looking for some better slots, but I knew where I was and with who. I knew all the time how to return to the even and I didn't feel scared or worried.

I was just extremely confused, because like I've said, it felt like those better games were actually there moments ago, but I couldn't find them any longer.

I guess, the main feeling I should focus on, is confusion. I was confused in my dream, thus it might be a sign that I'm not understanding something in real life. Maybe I'm not seeing the bigger picture somewhere?

Maybe I need to be more aware about something?

I don't think this dream was a negative one, because I was at a casino and I didn't even gamble while being there. Also, the confusion part doesn't have to be negative either.

Maybe I'll just come across something new and interesting that will expand my consciousness and understanding.

I'm ending this post here. At the end of each post I'll include my first post (down below) about this journey as it explains why and how I'm doing this! (Full Post Here)

I Will Be Doing This Every Day!

The main reason I want to start lucid dreaming, is for self improvement.

I've been reading a lot about it and studies have shown that you can actually improve certain abilities by doing it in your dreams.

For example, if you wan't to learn a foreign language, you can practice it in your dreams. Since you're working with your subconscious mind while you're sleeping, you might find out that you know words that you were never aware of while conscious.

It's really all up to your creativity to what you wanna learn and improve upon in your dreams. Is it basketball that you want to become better at? You can do that!

Do you want to become a better fucker? Nobody is holding you back! Just make a nasty slut appear in front of you and do whatever you want with her!

Apparently while sleeping, the neural pathways engaged in the activity are strengthened, and not only imagined or visualized.

To achieve lucid dreaming, a lot of action has to be taken. Well... Some find it really easy to lucid dream, but most have to achieve it the hard way.

It's really important to think about lucid dreaming throughout the day. This way you're telling your subconscious mind that this is what you're focusing on and what you want, thus it gives you the access to control the dream world.

There are quite a few things I will be doing in order to achieve this goal!

  1. So, first of all, I will be posting my whole lucid dreaming journey here on Steemit every day.

  2. I will be writing down all of my dreams on a journal. A dream journal is basically essential if you want to achieve lucid dreaming.

  3. I will do at least 30-50 reality checks every day.

  4. Have a sleeping rhythm. That means I will be going to sleep at the same time every night. I'll also wake up at the same time every morning as well.

  5. I will also experiment with some techniques to induce lucid dreams.

  6. I won't look at any screens (computer, TV or even phone) 30-60 minutes before bed, because I've read that this helps a lot. For those 30-60 minutes I will be meditating.

  7. Talk, read and think about lucid dreaming constantly.

  8. Occasionally I will listen to lucid dreaming binaural beats and hypnosis.

  9. I will use an app called Awoken. This app is designed to help you achieve lucid dreaming. It reminds you to do reality checks throughout the day and it has a dream journal, which is where I will be writing down all my dreams when I wake up.

  10. I will experiment with the supplement called Dream Leaf, I already ordered it and I will use it when it arrives. I will take it only once or at most twice every week to see if it changes anything about my dreams and the ability to become lucid.

Tracking All My Progress!

So, like I've mentioned before, I will be tracking all my progress and I'll be posting about it every day here on Steemit.

Also, after I achieve lucid dreaming, I won't stop posting about my experiences for some time still.

When I achieve my goal, I will be writing down a lot of experiences that I have inside the dream world, and I'll experiment if it's actually possible to improve real life skills while sleeping.

I set a personal goal to achieve lucid dreaming within 30 days starting today. I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to do that even faster than 30 days!

This is not the first time I try to achieve lucid dreaming, but I never took it seriously and I was too inconsistent, so I never even came close to becoming lucid.

But this time I'm gonna SMASH it and record the whole journey on this blockchain!

UPDATE: I achieved lucid dreaming for the first time on day 12

Hahaha. Imagine the outrage that would occur if you just walked up and started playing someone else's slot machine while they were sitting there. Like an old lady or something. She'd be beating you away with her coin-filled purse.

Haha, yeah that's a very absurd situation. I guess it can only occur in dreams, because there's not a lot of logic in this one!
