WBTB Technique Might Work For Me

This morning I became lucid, but I don't remember the experience!

I haven't been lucid for so long now... I would like to at least remember the experiences I have, LOL.

Waking up after 6 hours of sleep is probably not an option for me, at least for a while, because of the birds that I've talked about in my previous post.

So, I went back to waking up after 4 hours of sleep, because the birds are not making noises in the early morning.

I wanted to experiment with the techniques as well. I've been doing SSILD for some time now, so I decided to switch it up this time.

I just woke up and went to sleep a few minutes later. I think that's how WBTB (wake back to bed) works, right?

I noticed something when I woke up... I woke up laying on my back! That's great, because falling asleep on my back is nearly impossible for me, yet it's quite important if I want to have sleep paralysis experiences.

From sleep paralysis I could directly enter a dream.

All the sleep paralysis experiences I've had in my life happened when I was sleeping on my back, which is very very rare.

WBTB might be the best technique for me to fall asleep on my back, because I'm pretty tired when I wake up this early and I fall asleep quickly.

I felt asleep so fast, that I don't even remember in what position I tried to fall asleep. But like I've said, I woke up on my back, so I most likely fell asleep like this as well.

I'm going to continue experimenting with this technique for some time now, because it allows me to fall asleep on my back AND lucid dreaming occurred this morning from this technique.

Jack Black - Beer Explosion

Well, there's one main problem that doesn't seem to go away for a very long time now. Dream recall. There are days where my dream recall is just alright and sometimes it seems like it's gradually getting better, it often goes down for no apparent reason.

My daily routine is roughly the same and it never changes, so I have no idea why my dream recall goes down all the time. Today, I didn't have much memory of my dreams, I wasn't even able to remember my lucid dreaming experience even though I know I had one.

Anyway, my dream begins when I was in a party or something. Jack Black was in the party! I spent most of my time around him, listening to what he's talking about.

I noticed that he's drinking quite a lot of beer. After a while, he got really drunk and he started talking shit to people. He almost started fighting with someone.

Later, he continued drinking even more beer up to a point where his stomach started getting bigger and bigger.

It got really huge at one moment and it exploded, LOL. His stomach literally went BOOM and his insides went flying everywhere.

People were covered in blood and guts. The whole room was basically painted in red now. I must say, the view wasn't very beautiful.

The ambulance arrived pretty quickly and they performed a surgery... I'm not sure what kind of surgery they did, because his organs were scattered around and he had no stomach.

Sadly, the surgery didn't do anything. The medics told me he passed away... No shit! I already knew he couldn't possibly survive this.

I woke up moments later.

Lucid Dreaming Experience

Like I've said, I have no memory of my lucid dream, but I know it happened.

I remember my way of thinking, my thought process. That's how I know I did have a lucid dream.

My thoughts went like this:

"This is a dream. I just know this is a dream. There's no way this could be real life." Then I did a reality check just to make sure.

"I can breathe through my pinched nose. Wait, can I? I'm not sure." I did another reality check.

"Yeah, it worked alright. That's definitely a dream".

That's all I can remember. The lucid dream didn't end immediately as I realized that I'm dreaming. It lasted for some time, this I know.

But what I did there is unknown to me.

There's one thing though...

I woke up from the lucid dream with a fast heartbeat. I just know that I got scared about something in this dream, but I can't recall what, even though I woke up right away.

A sudden shock just woke me up and my heart was racing. I tried calming down, but I couldn't for a few minutes. I didn't even move when I woke up.

I tried to relax, but my heart was still beating fast. And I don't know why! Surely if I don't remember the experience, I should've been able to relax really quickly.

I'm ending this post here. At the end of each post I'll include my first post (down below) about this journey as it explains why and how I'm doing this! (Full Post Here)

But, it feels almost as if my body and heart remembered why it got scared, but my mind didn't.

I Will Be Doing This Every Day!

The main reason I want to start lucid dreaming, is for self improvement.

I've been reading a lot about it and studies have shown that you can actually improve certain abilities by doing it in your dreams.

For example, if you wan't to learn a foreign language, you can practice it in your dreams. Since you're working with your subconscious mind while you're sleeping, you might find out that you know words that you were never aware of while conscious.

It's really all up to your creativity to what you wanna learn and improve upon in your dreams. Is it basketball that you want to become better at? You can do that!

Do you want to become a better fucker? Nobody is holding you back! Just make a nasty slut appear in front of you and do whatever you want with her!

Apparently while sleeping, the neural pathways engaged in the activity are strengthened, and not only imagined or visualized.

To achieve lucid dreaming, a lot of action has to be taken. Well... Some find it really easy to lucid dream, but most have to achieve it the hard way.

It's really important to think about lucid dreaming throughout the day. This way you're telling your subconscious mind that this is what you're focusing on and what you want, thus it gives you the access to control the dream world.

There are quite a few things I will be doing in order to achieve this goal!

  1. So, first of all, I will be posting my whole lucid dreaming journey here on Steemit every day.

  2. I will be writing down all of my dreams on a journal. A dream journal is basically essential if you want to achieve lucid dreaming.

  3. I will do at least 30-50 reality checks every day.

  4. Have a sleeping rhythm. That means I will be going to sleep at the same time every night. I'll also wake up at the same time every morning as well.

  5. I will also experiment with some techniques to induce lucid dreams.

  6. I won't look at any screens (computer, TV or even phone) 30-60 minutes before bed, because I've read that this helps a lot. For those 30-60 minutes I will be meditating.

  7. Talk, read and think about lucid dreaming constantly.

  8. Occasionally I will listen to lucid dreaming binaural beats and hypnosis.

  9. I will use an app called Awoken. This app is designed to help you achieve lucid dreaming. It reminds you to do reality checks throughout the day and it has a dream journal, which is where I will be writing down all my dreams when I wake up.

  10. I will experiment with the supplement called Dream Leaf, I already ordered it and I will use it when it arrives. I will take it only once or at most twice every week to see if it changes anything about my dreams and the ability to become lucid.

Tracking All My Progress!

So, like I've mentioned before, I will be tracking all my progress and I'll be posting about it every day here on Steemit.

Also, after I achieve lucid dreaming, I won't stop posting about my experiences for some time still.

When I achieve my goal, I will be writing down a lot of experiences that I have inside the dream world, and I'll experiment if it's actually possible to improve real life skills while sleeping.

I set a personal goal to achieve lucid dreaming within 30 days starting today. I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to do that even faster than 30 days!

This is not the first time I try to achieve lucid dreaming, but I never took it seriously and I was too inconsistent, so I never even came close to becoming lucid.

But this time I'm gonna SMASH it and record the whole journey on this blockchain!

UPDATE: I achieved lucid dreaming for the first time on day 12
