What is this?
Hello everyone! Reward cards are my favorite thing about Splinterlands, so here I am to share the love and give away some monsters. To start, I'll be giving away one set of common reward cards for each Splinter, starting with Fire. Each day, someone will win a copy of the featured cards. At the end of the series, the entire set (currently 15 cards) will be featured, so stay tuned!
What can I win?
Today is Water, which means Sea Genie and Sea Monster. Just look at those watery dudes!
What do I have to do?
To qualify, there are 2 conditions to satisfy:
- You must leave a comment in reply to this post
- You must have purchased a Splinterlands starter pack
That's it! Pretty simple. Any comment is fine, but if you're feeling creative, come up with alternative names for today's cards. There might be a bonus reward for my favorite answer. 😄
How do I win?
Approximately 24 hours after the creation of this post, one winner will be selected from the valid contenders in a fair and reproducible manner.

id,created, andauthorvalues of your comment will respectively be used as thedata,key, andpersonparameters of the blake2s function. I will generate thesaltbeforehand and post the hash here. The resulting bytes will be converted into an integer, then reduced to a specific range (via modulo), which will also be posted.

Future changes
This system of giveaway is pretty dull, so I'm going to be spicing things up a bit. In the new system, each comment will increase everyone's odds of winning, so bring a friend. 😉
I didn't have time to get everything finalized before this post, but hopefully it'll be done within the next few days. In the meantime, let me know if there's anything you'd like to see me do with these giveaways.

Sea Monster is one of my go-to Water monsters. Big melee attack (especially leveled up) and self-healing. Sea Genie is great, too, but at 6 mana he doesn't always make the cut.... more of a utility player.
