Doubled my SteemPower!

Slow power...

After being around here for over a year-ish time span, I didn't think I could of staked this much Steem! Simple fact that when I started around here the price of Steem was over $3 USD! So as a late investor of crypto there was not enough funding to make a difference in my life.

Whatever group you had started in had to of made a difference in some way. If you bought lots of Alpha packs in the beginning you probably did pretty well because the price went up when they sold out/stoped selling them. With the market you could collect the Steem and power it up. Are you could hodl your cards and wait!🤔

Now the price is dirt cheap right now for Steem or #newsteem ! But even if you don't want to spend much money, there is always ways of getting more power. So here is how I came to be able to double my position of Steem Power!

My Way...

If you play @steemmonsters / @Splinterlands you know there are Daily Quest and when completing them you get reward cards for it. Well I was using a potion that gave you 5 extra cards when you complete a Quest, I ended up getting a Gold Foil Lord Arianthus. I was excited because of the value of the card not so much the rarity of it.(weird huh) I had it on the market for a little while and kept moving the price around for sometime. Finally I just left it alone. Then it finally happened.

I had just made more Steem than my account had powered up. Which it was 617 SP! So I decided that with this 50/50 reward of Steem maybe I should hold more power.

So in the end I powered up 617 Steem all because of playing a game that I really enjoy. Digital assets have been very good to me so far and I'm sure its only going to get better as time goes on. @yabapmatt and @aggroed have brought a great way of boosting digital assets to help grow the Steem world. I have to say thanks to the @steemmonsters team for a great game and I can't wait for the phone app for the game!

That is how I double my Steem Power! It was my #SPUD for me!
