Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior aka Neymar Jr., more commonly known as Neymar, born February 5, 1992 in Mogi das Cruzes, is a Brazilian international football player playing for Paris Saint-Germain, and for the Brazilian national team , of which he has been captain since 4 September 2014 [4].

He is considered one of the greatest players in Brazilian and world football. He was voted best South American player of the year in 2011 and 2012. According to the IFFHS, Neymar is the second best scorer in the world behind Lionel Messi in 2012. By his performances, Neymar is ranked tenth in the Ballon ranking. 2011, thirteenth in 2012 and fifth in 2013 as in 2016. He also won the Bola de Ouro for the best player of the Brazilian championship in 2011.
Neymar joined the Santos club in 2003. He played in youth teams until 2009, when he joined the pennant team. With this club, Neymar wins the Brazil Cup, two championships of the State of São Paulo, Recopa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores. In 2013, he joined FC Barcelona in Spain, with which he won the Spanish Championship and the Champions League in 2015. With a superb 2015 with his club both collectively and individually, Neymar is included in the a list of the 3 finalists of the 2015 Golden Ball alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and is therefore the first Brazilian player to appear on this list since 2007 and its winner Ricardo Kakà. He therefore affirms the hopes placed in him and stands out as one of the best attackers of his generation.
