Who Will be England's Number 1 Goalkeeper Ahead of the World Cup?
With the exclusion of Joe Hart, England's goalkeeper sector is now being contested by three players at once. The coach, Gareth Southgate, was still not willing to express his choice for the 2018 World Cup later.
Southgate surprisingly did not include Joe Hart's name in the Three Lions squad, which is one of the England goalkeeping subscribers. He chose some foreign names like Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland and Nick Pope.
Because all three rarely defend England, practically all three are now competing in the race for a place in the starting line-up. Southgate itself still does not want to reveal its options for the sector.
"We will consider who will play against Costa Rica in the next 24 or 36 hours," he told reporters, as quoted by Sports Mole.
