RIO Olympics 2016, Be careful.

So I've been reading up on the RIO Olympics, and it seems the amount of things going on over there are not having a positive impact for the Olympics at all.

First of all there is the Zika Virus, It's starting to become quite a problem over there, and is spread easily VIA Mosquitoes and other insects, just the Zika Virus could effect the amount of tourists that are going to visit the event and that could cause a major money loss for the country of RIO, not only could it affect the tourists, but it could possibly effect the athletes, and some might not be able to compete? Which could potentially cause quite a bit of controversy between the countries. The Zika virus does not yet have a cure, and can last for 2-7 days, it's also very popular and is also spread very very easily.

Second of all, the amount of crime over there. With everything that is currently happening over there, such as the olympics, zika virus, there is even more to add on top. The murder rate has increased by 15% ontop of last years murder rate, and the robbery rate has increased by 30%. I know they can't just change the venue, or where it is going to be held, but people need to be careful when over there. Mascots have already been killed, aswell as many people trying to bring drugs into the country for the event. If you are visiting this year, or going to the olympics, I suggest that you be really careful, and try to stick to places in RIO like Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. Rather than staying in somewhere like Favela, which is one of the suburbs in RIO that have the largest crime rate.
