Story about a piece of chewing gum.

A piece of chewing gum said to be Sir Alex Ferguson last chewing gum he chewed after his last match he coached for Manchester United football team was sold for about $600,000 (that's about 216m in naira). Can you imagine!!!. It was reported that a fan claimed the piece of chewing gum after the game from the ravenous chewer who chew gum during most of his coaching career.

The fan was said to have pick the final piece off the pitch and listed it on ebay. The listing on ebay read:

“Used chewing gum: RARE. Recovered from The Hawthorns. Clear perspex/wooden case. Unofficial merchandise, rumoured to belong to Sir Alex. After 1,500 games of intense chewing as manager of Man Utd, here lies Fergie’s last piece of chewing gum. All proceeds go to the MU Foundation charity.Happy bidding.”

Sir Alex Ferguson is a formal Manchester unted football coach who is known by some as the best coach ever, while some just believe he is among the best. Sir Alex Ferguson won 13 Premier league titles, 5 FA cups and two Uefa Champions league titles among other titles in his 26 years spells at Manchester United.
