ROGER FEDERER THE LIVING LEGEND !!! ( 9th WIMBLEDON TITLE ) !
Usually, I share articles about business and investment as a business student. But this time, I'm devoting this article for tennis news as a tennis player and fan of Roger Federer as well. Thanks for all my followers and even those who did not follow me yet for reading my posts and I hope you could give me your opinion about them, so I could develop my coming articles.
Roger Federer is known with his magic tricks on court, that no one could control the ball better than him. This time he proved again that he's the tennis legend and maestro of all time. Indeed, he won Wimbledon championship for the 8th time and it is his 19th grand slam title! It is just unimaginable that a player could achieve such a success at the age of 35, being the first one at this age to win Wimbledon and the only one to have won 19 grand slam titles.
Roger Federer won against Marin Čilić by 6-3 / 6-1 / 6-4. Actually, Cilic tried his best to make it harder for Roger to win easily. Yet, due to his injury he could not stand more than 2 hours against Roger.
Well, it is not like Roger Federer won the title because of the state of his opponent but thanks to his hard work and concentration on his goal. And the proof is the hard work he had made in the tournament from the First round till the end.
Roger Federer admitted that he doubted for a second he could ever come back to Wimbledon for the coming years but after he realized that he could do even better and play tennis like he would never retire.
During this year, he had won 2 grand slam titles which are: Australian open and Wimbledon, the first one was against Rafael Nadal who is known to be the clay king but still he could not beat Roger Federer who started the season with a perfect win against him.
