The Italian tactician seemed to show more of a willingness to give chances to previous loanees last season, with Victor Moses and Nathaniel Chalobah given more prominent roles in the first-team.

However, Chalobah is one of the names who could now be heading out on loan again this summer, joining Michy Batshuayi, Kurt Zouma, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham is already closing in on a temporary switch to Swansea City, while Nathan Ake is being linked as a possible target for Southampton as the Blues try to sign Virgil van Dijk.

For all Chelsea’s success last season in winning the Premier League and making it to the FA Cup final, it seems Conte is ready to majorly revamp his squad ahead of the new season.
