India in a dominating position after Day1 in first test : Ind vs Eng

After the end of Day1 of the first test match , England posted a total of 285/9 in 88 overs . England playing on their home ground didn't expected this score at the end of the day from a strong position of 216/3 .

India started of well with change of bowlers at regular intervals and picking up wickets at crucial moments . On a seam friendly wicket and a bit of turn offered on the wicket, the Indian bowlers made the most out of it . Ashwin speacially with the experience he has got, bowled very well and picked up 4 wickets .

Although Indian pacers didn't perform the way it was expected but collectively it was a good effort and hence they will look to take the 1 wicket quickly and bat the whole day making a lead on the England team .
