Despite his recent loss at Extreme Rules 2018, The Big Dog overcame Bobby Lashley in last night's main event to earn yet another shot at Lesnar (who'll be showing up next week to say hello).

Reigns has never beaten The Beast in a one-on-one match, no matter how many times it's been predicted.

He lost their first (and best) confrontation when Seth Rollins interfered at WrestleMania 31 with the briefcase.

He then lost their limp rematch at WrestleMania 34 and forgettable cage match at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

We still think that match at '31 was a classic in the making even before Seth's interference, and either man could have walked out a worthy winner.

But since then it's really felt like diminishing returns.

Unless Braun Strowman gets involved with his briefcase (more on that later) or there's another twist, it'll be hard for the WWE Universe to get invested in this one, and it's hard to blame them.
