RE: Remembering Muhammad Ali. [TRIBUTE]

in #sports7 years ago

Awesome post mate and what a great topic. This guy was a freak of nature and I still haven't worked him out. In some stories I feel he was quite vulnerable, but the guy is so intelligent that he always seemed to have a plan. His fight with Fraiser and the story behind it is one of my favourites. Both elements were brutal and wonderful to watch at the same time. 15 rounds!!! Man those guys were made of heavy metal.
RIP Ali, the greatest.

Thank you for reading, my bro. No doubt no one can overcome the great Ali.

I love the sport, more so back then than now. Eubank and Nigel Benn were the boxers I grew up watching, but Ali is the greatest. Some good middleweight around and Carl Froch was a beast! He comes from same town as me, Nottingham. What do you think of the heavyweight division at the moment?

I also have a certain desire for sports, especially baseball. About boxing: Nothing compared to the classic heavyweight division, I think that boxing is currently no longer the same (in my humble opinion) example of those classic heavyweights: George Foreman, Evander Hollyfield, Tommy Morrinson or Lennox Lewis.
