It's Here!!! The Ever Exciting MLB Draft And Cash Allotments Per Pick!

Tomorrow should be an interesting day in MLM Baseball. The 2017 draft is here and as usual our future stars will be picked.

The MLB is not as sexy as the NFL and NBA draft as those are made out to be like Red Carpet Hollywood movie premiers. The baseball draft is a slower paced draft process with over 40 rounds! Compared to only 2 rounds in the NBA draft and 7 rounds in the NFL.

What is very intriguing about the MLB draft is unlike the NBA and NFL draft is its NOT always the best players that get drafted. It's the player they think they can SIGN with the allotment given to the draft slot which is from the collective bargaining agreement.

Sometimes it can be who is the agent a player has representing him...remember Scott Boras. Some teams will not even negotiate with a draft pick if he is represented by Boras. A good player has some leverage of going back to college or if coming out of high school going to college.

Below is the draft order and the money allocations per slot. Who do you think will go #1 this year? What do you think about that Oregon State kid that was found out he was a registered Sex Offender during the College World Series (Luke Heimlich). How much does he drop? He was projected as a Top 3 pick.

The projected number 1 pick is leaning towards Kyle Wright the hard throwing Righty out of Vanderbilt. But most team are really high on High Schooler Right Hander Hunter Greene. No Prep Right Hander pitcher has ever gone #1. It will be interesting. There will be some young MILLIONAIRES tomorrow. Hopefully they will be wise and frugal and load up on Steem. :)

WOW... I can't wait!
