You can apply it to any exercise routine and is valid for the best initial step to speed up metabolism, burn calories and shape your body.

The best thing about this workout is you burn calories during physical activity and after it. So, when you're done training, go home, you are still burning calories. But How?

  • In short, your body during periods of training is not able to get enough oxygen into the body. Therefore, you accumulate oxygen that must be entered into the body to help the body back to normal.
The result - your metabolism is recovering hours after exercise and thus burn calories.

To put it simply - interval training involves exercising at short intervals, a routine and exercise schedule changing and mixing every few minutes.

How to

Start with 15 minutes of moderate tempo. If the tempo is such that you can have a normal conversation turn up the tempo. As soon as the 15 minutes is up, you are setting a fast tempo for 60 seconds. When the 60 seconds is up, walk up the next 60 sec, and when those run out, again do your best and sprint next 60 seconds. Do this 5 times.

When you are at your highest level of intensity, you should run as fast as you can. After you have completed all five series, ran for another 15 minutes at a moderate tempo.

In interval training one thing is a bit heavier, maybe this is why it so effective - no pauses between exercises. It is easier and slower exercises are your break.

It does not seem like anything special, right? But why it's so efficient for so many people? It has to do with what we mentioned - no pause. Your body is constantly under the effort to change from light to hard exercises. With interval training is constantly switching from one muscle group to another, but there is no great fatigue even pressure on some muscle.. How the body is not accustomed to a routine that does not know what follows (as when you run one pace) and therefore constantly working and your lungs are working much more

As you can see, none of this is complicated. Once you start with this kind of training you will quickly gain a sense of how hard you have to work and the results will come. These exercises are excellent for use in closed areas where you can control your speed and watch the clock. Do these workouts properly and even at winter when exercising indoors can be a time with the most progress.

This is a good one. I need to do it but I've been a bit lazy. I'm on IF and body weight workouts and mixing some boxing in there. I'm doing my first weight workout in years tomorrow. Maybe I'll throw some intervals in there at the end of the week :)

Great man! Keep it up! :)
