MY OPINION ON THE JUST CONCLUDED UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINALS

in #sports7 years ago

I love watching football and have always been an Arsenal fan.

I'm not a die hard football fanatic and obviously don't allow my love for football become my priority.

Football is another form of entertainment and should not be a do or die affair, after all every footballer gets paid the contract amount whether the team wins or loses.

Outside J J Okocha and Alhaji Diof of Senegal, I do not think they have been any footballer that has entertained me when on the pitch.

I love those guys. Lionel Messi came a bit close but I haven't been entertained by him. C Ronaldo isn't even close, he is too rigid for the type of football I like.

Not until I watched Mohammed Salah display some amazing skills on the pitch.FB_IMG_15275037790991166.jpg

Salah is the Rashidi Yakini of Africa, He moves at the speed of light and is found in places where the opponents defense squad can not predict.

I've never watched any Champions League game before in my life. I watched yesterday's game not just because I am opportune to but because Mohammed Salah was going to play.

I wanted to see the only man that made Egypt qualify for world cup for the first time since 1990. I wanted to see Africa shine on the global stage.

Those of you who watched yesterdays game will agree with me that Sergio Ramos's tackle on Salah was not just a wicked act but was the cause of action a coward will take.

Cowards find cheap means to solve a problem. Cowards lack the fortitude to stand on character. Cowards don't look for the enemies weak points because they are busy focusing on the strength of the enemy.FB_IMG_15275037543528601.jpg

Football is not for the chicken hearted but for the courageous. Most men love football because it gives them that competition mentality while most women love Romance movies because it gives them that emotional mentality.

Yes Real Madrid won the tournament but does it look as if they truly deserve the victory?. My answer is no!.

Some like what Ramos did to Salah but what if you are Salah, how would you feel. When integrity and fair play is not the guiding principle behind the exploits of a man, he won't leave a history that future generations would be proud of.

Obviously in the minds of those that does not like what Ramos did to Salah, they will say that Salah was not giving a fighting chance and was tactically eliminated but would Ramos be able to live with that on his conscience.FB_IMG_15275037668311167.jpg

For the fact that he eliminated Salah the way he did, shows that he is a coward and unable to handle Salah. It further proves the point that Salah is not just a rising star but an honest footballer.

In life you can be ruthless but that ruthlessness will eventually catch up with you. Do unto others what you would have them do unto you.

What is the purpose of this long epistle. Never be a Sergio Ramos while you go through life be a Mohammed Salah.

Cowardice does not pay. Live a life worthy of emulation so as to leave footprints in the sands of time.

History doesn't forget honest and courageous stars.

Shalom!

You have shown the world that you really do not know much about football.

Saying Lionel Messi comes close to Hadji Diouf already showed us the fact - no offence, you do not know soccer.

If I should be talking about the best two to have ever graced the game; Lionel Messi and CR7, it would end up hurting you and the post you obviously took time to write.

You really think Sergie's challenge with Salah was intentional? Wait, even if you watched the match through a TV set (off the field I mean), didn't it show clearly enough that the scene occurred outta the Spanish international's intention?

The Galacticos might have hoped for Salah to be off the pitch, but wake up, that challenge was purely professional. They played against the mighty Messi and still didn't do such to him. Is Salah that fearsome to be considered better than Thiago's dad? Chai!

Having seen red card more than most defenders, the Los Blancos captain is still regarded as the best central defender in the world right now. He attained such position by doing his job as a defender. If Kosielny was in his position that day, would you have asked for the Frenchman to not challenge for the ball and just let the opponent escape? Bro, fear God na.

And if you mind hearing the truth, Salah's injury was due to the way he landed on the ground, not because Sergie challenged for the ball.

Wake up from the dream. Had it been that Salah was on field, Liverpool would still not win against the Liga giants. The match might have extended to an extra time but the Galacticos would still end up winning the trophy. Everyone (who knows about soccer) understand that Liverpool always have good starting but their finishing is questionable. You could see that against Roma (if you watched the match) and if City's goal was not wrongly disallowed at Etihad, City would have prevailed against the Reds.

Putting Salah ahead Messi and Ronaldo? May the gods forgive you. Very funny!

It takes more than a single good season to attain their positions. Salah needs to repeat this for more than five seasons if he is to get NEAR THE DEADLIEST TWO.

I LOVE SALAH. HE HAS A FUTURE. BUT THE NOW STILL BELONGS TO MESSI & CR7.

You just wrote what I was thinking great post I'm a Liverpool fan salah has changed football from being so humble on and of the pitch the way he lifts a team he is a amazing talent.
My personal opinion real cheated Liverpool in the final due to Ronaldo to win the ballon dor
Salah hands down wolf of won it now Real have won the cup its seems no chance for salah and ramos experienced cheat. With salah on the pitch real knew Liverpool would of won.

You have said everything how i wish does useless madrid fans are here on steemit they need too see this post. Useless ramos i hate that guy from now on

Well written bro, salah going out demoralized the reds at some point...

Well in football, anything can happen😂😂😂😂😂😂

I so love this post.
I'm not a fan of Liverpool either but Ramos deserves to be punished so it won't repeat that again. He's fun of giving players injuries
