We have all witnessed the Football World Cup recently held at Russia. France won the World Cup trophy and Croatia won hearts of us. Now hockey world cup is coming very near. So lets get ready for the new sporting fever which is going to start by 1st December 2018 in India.

Venue

The complete tournament will be hosted at one city i.e. Bhubaneswar at Kalinga Stadium

Bhubaneswar is the new sports capital of India. Recently successfully hosted the Asian Athletics Championship , FIH Hockey world league. Kalinga stadium witnessed big occasions earlier too. The facilities and adminstration of the stadium itself mind boggling. Which makes confidence to the organiser to host the entire tournament at one place.

Ground Reporting

Bhubaneswar is my living city so it was easy to cover the ground story for you guys. I have visited the stadium yesterday and saw the preparations for the upcoming big games.

• Stadium is going through in restructuring phase.
• Increasing the seating capacity by adding new stands.
• New security system are coming to take place.
