Who will be the £100m man?

in #sports8 years ago (edited)

Manchester United paid Juventus a world-record £89m to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford last year, but could we see a player break the £100m-barrier this summer?

With transfer fees continuing to rise, it is surely only a matter of time before a club splurges a nine-figure sum on one player.

Real Madrid were the first club to pay more than £50m for a player when signing Kaka for £56m from AC Milan in 2009, while Los Blancos went on to again break the world record when signing Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m, 2009) and then Gareth Bale (£86m, 2013).

.

My guess would have to be Mbappe, He's been outstanding this season, and still so young.

Who do you guys think it will be?

Let's not forget Paulo Dybala and Lukaku, two young man with a bright future. Also, Grizemann could be the 100m man if his team didn't get banned which force him to stay. Players nowadays worth so much which makes soccer even more of a money game. Teams with great financial backup will succeed in a long run

Very true, Dybala might be that man, and if that's the case then, it's about the teams getting that financial backup by playing good football

Or will Neymar go somewhere??

just posted a football man u post,

I agree with Mbappe but I dont think that he will leave this summer
