Juventus are desperate to keep hold of the Brazil international
Juventus are willing to give Sandro a new contract to stay in Italy, but Chelsea are prepared to better their offer and meet the valuation placed on the 26-year-old. Should Chelsea complete a £60m deal for Sandro, then it will eclipse the £50m they paid for Fernando Torres in 2011, although Chelsea are aiming to break their transfer record twice this summer. Manager Antonio Conte wants Sandro this summer at Stanford Bridge as the perfect new left-back but Juventus are reportedly desperate to keep hold of the Brazil international.
The Serie A champions are said to be willing to offer Sandro a new contract worth £76,000 a week, but Chelsea are prepared to better that with a £100,000-a-week deal.
