It must be because the Dems finally tried to make up for platforming the egregious Steve Kerr at their convention. They reached out to Celtics fans by inviting Jayson Tatum to help lead Michelle Obama’s voter registration drive. This is vital. Yes, MA is not a swing state. But there is a huge Boston fan diaspora in other parts of the country.
But more must be done to really lock down the Boston fan vote! Kamala must denounce Kerr’s benching of Tatum and commit to appointing a Celtics fan to the Supreme Court to make up for Biden replacing the only Boston fan on the Court (Breyer) with a Justice who isn’t. I will make the sacrifice, and will serve if called upon! Who better to unite a fractured Court than a Justice certified as a centrist by The NY Times?
