Luck VS Judgement - A Trixie Challenge - Day 25
Here we are then, the final day of the first ever Luck vs Judgement Trixie Challenge, and barring something special (two winners would do it) for Luck this afternoon it looks very much like Judgement is going to come out on top. However, that really only tells half of the story. With only £17.63 returned for Judgement so far, the reality is that unless all three of my picks win today it is the bookies that will end up smiling.
It is no surprise that using some kind of process should defeat the random picking of horses by name alone, so perhaps the real lesson here is that trixies are just not a profitable method of betting. High level talks are scheduled between @happyaslarry and myself for another experiment to commence soon but the parameters of this experiment are yet to be determined. What is certain though is that when this next challenge happens it is I that will be relying on luck and @happyaslarry that will be using his bonce.
All that though is for another day. Today the focus is on the six horses selected below. The big win is just as likely to happen on the last day out of twenty-five as it is on the first and so maybe it will be us smiling and the bookies who will be weeping into their pints this evening.
Here’s @happyaslarry on today’s final picks:
”Well having been to Anfield on Saturday I thought I’d go for the Liverpool theme. Fields of Athenry (Fields of Anfield Road), Milly (James Milner), and Shankly’s Dawn needs no explanation!”
