NBA Playoffs is entering its most exciting part. It’s the conference finals with four teams left to compete for the title. The first match is scheduled to be played today. Here is the preview of Eastern Conference Finals.

EASTERN CONFERENCE  

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics  

With the home court advantage young Celtics are looking to get out of the gates with force against the Cavaliers team lead by Lebron James and Kevin Love. Game is set to tip off at 03:30 PM ET today. 

Boston Celtics 

Celtics have demonstrated a very solid performance during this year’s playoffs. With the 7 – 0 home court record in this years playoffs they are showing the Garden is still a force.

To many players opening series against the talented Milwaukee Bucks was the first NBA Playoffs experience. Despite impressive performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo, Celtics pulled game 7 victory and advanced to conference semi’s. With first series win still in fresh memory many players felt more comfortable in very entertaining series against Philly’s 76’s which was ultimately won 4-1. 

Season started with horrifying leg injury for Gordon Hayward just couple of minutes into the new season. Led by Kyrie Erving Celtics raised to the top seed of the eastern conference until it all went bad again. Erving suffered a knee injury which ruled him out for the last part of the season and playoffs as well. 

Recently great playing Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum is no No.1 option now. With the equally great playing young Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown Boston has a real shot at Cleveland as many basketball experts predict.  Mainly due to strong coaching by Brad Stevens, home court advantage and fact that this year’s Cavaliers are heavily relying on James are main reasons why C's would be able to win the series.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cavs in this year’s playoffs was in serious trouble against the Indiana Pacers. Series went the distance and had to be decided in game 7, just as for Celtics. However, series against the Toronto Raptors proved to be much easier than thought before. Cavs were also rolling in their semi and earned 4 – 0 sweep against the slumping Raps. 

Mid-season major roster changes for Cleveland might finally start to show results. In 3 ways deal they got Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood, George Hill and got rid some of the players that were seriously underachieving, including Dwayne Wade which find his way back to Miami. 

You should never bet against the King, Lebron James as many opponents has already learned this from previous playoffs. James's teams have played in NBA Finals 7 straight times and there is a very good chance for him to play his 8th in June. Experience of James and Love, and sharp shooting from J.R.Smith might be the deciding factor for this series. They only need one win in next two games to steal the home court and drag this series as long as they need.
