2017 FIFA Confederations Cup Contest: Predict Winners, Win STEEM!

Watching sports is fantastic fun. Winning STEEM while doing so makes it even better.

Starting June 17th in Russia, FIFA will be conducting the Confederations Cup, matching up winners of the six soccer confederations from across the globe, the host Russia and the defending World Champion Germany.

To win this contest, you have to predict which teams are going to be the most successful. Here are the eight teams competing this year. If you want to read a brief overview of the teams, @steemsports has you covered here with a preview.

GROUP A:
Russia
New Zealand
Portugal
Mexico

GROUP B:
Australia
Cameroon
Chile
Germany

The top two teams advance from each group. In the semi-finals, the winner of Group A plays the runner-up from Group B, while the winner from Group B plays the runner-up from Group A. The two winners of the semi-final then face off for the trophy.

Tiebreaker: Total Number of Goals Scored In Tournament

Each advancing team you have correct scores 3 points. Each finalist you have scores 6 points. If you pick the champion, you receive 9 points. Ties will be broken by closest to the total number of goals.
