Why Americans Love Football
Being a california native, football is as close to life as food, water, or your next joint. The passion, sweat, broken limbs, torn ligaments and blood perpetuate everything great within society. Football is the ultimate contest of will. Freaks of nature weighing over 240lbs running as fast as soccer players taking each other heads off. The violent nature of the sport is the purest form of human kinetics.
Football is more similar to chess than mixed martial arts or a blood sport. A game of leverage, technique will always trump power. The adrenaline of putting on a helmet to enter tunnel vision can only be experienced not dictated. Unlike the most currupt sport in the world soccer, FIFA having rigged games for years. The speed, violence, and nature of the game makes rigging games almost impossible. It truly is the greatest contest of men ever created.
