The Sri Lankan team nominated for the tour of south Africa and England

The 22-member Test cricket squad for the tour of South Africa and England has been approved by the Minister of Sports.

Santhush Goonetileke, Asitha Fernando and Dilshan Madushanka have joined the team led by Dimuth Karunaratne.

Despite being named in the squad, Angelo Mathews will not join the South African tour, Sri Lanka Cricket said.

He suffered a foot injury in the recent Ceylon Premier League semi-final.
