in #sports7 years ago

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. He can finish almost any chance he gets. At the young age of 23 we can expect a lot more from this player. He is leading Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, and captaining the English National team. The only thing Harry Kane is missing is major trophies. He has helped his Tottenham finish high in the table, but hasn't managed to win it yet. Could the 2017/2018 Premier League Campaign the year he finally lifts a trophy.

Early Career

In his youth days, Kane played for a number of academies including Arsenal and Watford. He eventually found his way into the Tottenham youth academy where he spent five years at the club. In 2009 Kane was called up to Tottenham's senior squad, but he didn't play very much. To give the player some time on the field the club sent him out on loan multiple times. Kane spent mediocre spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich, and Leicester City. Then in the 2013/2014 season he played a few games for Tottenham, but was not a consistent starter.

Spurs

Harry Kane's breakout season was the 2015/2015 campaign. Kane started to make more appearances, in fact he played 24 more games in the Premier League than he did the year before. In 34 appearances Kane managed to score 21 goals and assist on 4 occasions. He helped Tottenham finish 5th which granted them a spot in the Europa League the following season. Throughout that year Kane won the player of the month on two times, in the months of January and February. This made him one of four players to win the player of the month title back-to-back. He also helped Tottenham to a league cup final in which they lost badly to Premier League champions Chelsea. Kane won the PFA young player of the year award and made it into the PFA team of the Season. After the year Kane had people talking about his future and wondering if he was England's next big player, but could he live up to the hype around him.

The following season Kane and Tottenham stepped up their game. They finished in 3rd place which qualified them for the Champions League, the biggest tournament for clubs in Europe. Of course Kane was one of the main factors, scoring 25 goals in 38 appearances. This was not only his best scoring year yet, it was the first time we had seen him and Tottenham play with confidence and style.Kane yet again made it into the PFA team of the Season, in his second year as a starter.

This past campaign was Kane's most successful spell with a club. In 30 appearances Kane managed to obtain 29 goals and 7 assists. That is unbelievable record, and Kane won a player of the month award and a PFA team of the season spot for a third consecutive year. Tottenham also finished in second which is an unbelievable accomplishment. Though they didn't do so well in the Champions League it was a lot of the players first time playing in Europe. Kane has had a good run of successful campaigns, but he needs to show he can win titles as well. We will see how that plays out in the next few years.

The National Team

Harry Kane played 34 games in England's youth system. In those games Kane scored 17 goals, giving him a goal every other game. In 2015 Kane made his debut for England, scoring a minute in a half after coming on a a substitute against Lithuania. This past international break Kane captained England against Scotland and France, in which both games he scored. In 19 appearances Kane has scored 8 goals for his country. We will be looking forward to see how he progresses for England.

What to look Forward To

Kane is young and hungry for success. He has already proved himself for both Club and Country. Harry Kane has a good amount of time to improve his game and become a legend of the game. This upcoming campaign will prove if Kane can add titles to his name. We will all watch and see what he has in store for us.

Interesting read but he is not my type of striker. I like a striker that can dribble and take on players. Kane is clinical and has a lot in his locker. For me he is just not exciting. I like strikers like Henry and Suarez. Strikers that can make goals out of seemingly nothing. My opinion😒

All this bio are vain without medals to show for it, he is wasting his future already. He is an English player, Madrid would have swooped in. Lukaku will be more valuable than Kane very soon. Champion is not forever...
