Kings Lose 7-3. Wait, What?
Last episode we lauded the shutout Calvin Peterson got against the Blues and goalie coach Bill Ranford. Hopes were high against the Avalanche. Pregame articles mentioned how high scoring the Avalanche are this season. But seven goals? They are third in the league in goals for. Again, we apologize, we missed the game. Peterson started the game and allowed 6 goals on 31 shots. Budaj finally replaced him and allowed a goal on 3 shots?
We're flummoxed.
And the 3 goals we scored? Clifford, Luff and Wagner. Clifford is an old friend but we are not familiar with the other two.
The next game is Saturday, 11-24, 1900 Pacific Western Kings Time, at home, and we have no idea how that one's gonna end.
What about Campbell? Our first back up after Quick? Torn Meniscus. We'll have to wikipedia that one and get back to you.
Get it together, son.
