This season we’ve heard and read rumors and speculations regarding "LeBron James leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers" and is planning to play with another team. Taking a look back from the regular season, the Cleveland Cavaliers most likely had a hard time building chemistry for the reason that there are lots of changes in their roster. Different starting line ups had experimented to what and who will perfectly suit for the team play of the said team. After the Cavaliers traded Kyrie Irving in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn’s 2018 first-round pick, it totally wounded the roster of the Cavaliers because of the fact that Irving is one of the reason of the success of the team especially when they’ve became 2016 NBA Champions after a comeback from a 3-1 deficit against the Golden State Warriors. LeBron and Irving is a great tandem and losing Irving is definitely a great loss for James and for the Cavaliers. Also, more and more players from the Cavaliers roster had been traded in exchange for other players. We’ve also seen Wade, Rose, Crowder and Shumpert play for the Cavaliers but somehow in the middle of the season they’ve been traded in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. which are both from Los Angeles Lakers, _Rodney Hoo_d from Utah Jazz, and George Hill from Sacramento Kings. Cleveland Cavaliers really had a hard time rebuilding the team’s chemistry which led them into ups and downs in the regular season and most especially in the off-season.

Despite of all the ups and downs of the Cleveland Cavaliers, it never hinders their star player to give them a spot in the playoffs and landing in fourth place in the Eastern Conference Standing with a record of 50 wins and 32 losses. In the first round in the Eastern Conference the Cleveland Cavaliers faced the Indiana Pacers, and it has been quite a tough and great series. The Pacers didn’t hold back in taking the challenge against Cavs and LeBron and they’ve showed them that they have what it takes to beat them with Victor Oladipo leading the Pacers. It came to the point that the series is 3-2 in which the Pacers have the chance to win it and the Cavaliers facing elimination. Knowing that the situation is very crucial the Cavaliers gave their best and they are able to pull off a win and were able to tie the series. But “Whatever It Takes” there is no stopping the Cavaliers from winning the series. In the Semi’s they take on the number one seed in the East which is the Toronto Raptors and was able to sweep them in the series. So during the *Eastern Conference Finals the Cleveland Cavaliers go against the Boston Celtics, and it could have been a battle between James and Irving but sad to say Irving got injured and the rookies took over his role. You can’t really underestimate the rookies from the Celtics because they gave LeBron and the Cavs a tough series but then again Cavaliers were able to win the series and became the Eastern Conference Finals Champions once again. While on the other hand, their rival the Golden State Warriors also had a really tough series against the Houston Rockets but like they said “Never Doubt the Heart of a Champion”. It became Cavaliers against the Warriors rivalry for the fourth time. The series between the two is somewhat unpredictable because you won’t know what would really happen. But we all know that Warriors are really in advantage knowing how the team plays and how good they are in rotating the ball to find the open man in the court which makes them the lead in the league in terms of assists per game. At the same time the "Splash Brothers" namely Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson with their ability to shoot from downtown and adding Kevin Durant which makes the team really hard to beat that easily. Sadly, the Cavaliers didn’t have any chance against the warriors and ended up getting swept in the series.

Right after the NBA Finals to where the Cleveland Cavaliers had been swept in the series against the defending Champions and now the back to back Champions, the said rumor somehow is becoming true already. I’m not a LeBron fan or a hater but I truly admire his greatness when it comes to basketball. He’s able to put up crazy stats especially in his 15th season in the league. In my point of view, I really think that it will be possible that he is going to leave the Cavaliers and looking forward to sign up on another team. As what I’ve seen and noticed this season it seems to me that he is the only who is shouldering the team in order to win and somehow he cannot rely on the other players because they are not consistent in their performance which makes it tough for him to handle. If there is no LeBron in the Cavs then surely there will be no Cavs in the Finals. We all know that basketball is a team game and it means that everyone should be involved and everyone should contribute in order to lead the team into success and somehow I didn’t see that in the Cavs this season. Unlike in the previous season especially with Kyrie Irving on the team; LeBron really had someone with him to share in shouldering the load. Like I said, losing Irving has a really great impact on Cavaliers gameplay and team play. If only his teammates had played consistently throughout the season there is really a chance that they’ll get even with the Warriors. I totally understand the frustration of James because he really exerted much effort on bringing the team into the Finals and ending up getting swept. On the other hand I didn’t really find their head coach Ty Lue that valuable to the team, I don’t think that he’s helped the team a lot because it seems to me that LeBron is doing all the things in the Cavaliers including coaching and motivating the team. Based from the rumors that came out, one of the prospected team that LeBron will go is the Los Angeles Lakers and in addition it’s been rumored also that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will also go to the Los Angeles Lakers and possibly becoming the “Big 3”. And so as for me, I really think that LeBron James leaving the Cavaliers is a better decision because more doors of opportunities are open especially for a great player like him. But of course, rumors and speculations remain untrue unless it is being confirmed by the league. I’m really looking forward on what’s going to happen in the league and for the upcoming updates regarding whether LeBron is going to stay or leave Cleveland Cavaliers.

How about you? What do you think? Is he going to leave or not?
