NFL Picks - Playoffs Week 2
Let's look at this weeks NFL games and make some picks.
Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles
Philly has been the better team all year but we need to decide how good they are with Nick Foles driving the bus. Philly has good defence but with Trufant stepping up his game we're looking at equal parties.
I going to side with Atlanta on this game but wouldn't lay my money on more then a field.
Atlanta -2.5
Tennessee Titans vs New England Patriots
This is an easy one for me. Although Tennessee came back with a nice win over the Chiefs on Saturday they stand no chance. If we look back at that game we'll see how luck was on their side. Mariota's ridiculous bank shot pass to himself for a touch down.
Goodbye Titans! Brady and the Pats already have you beat before you show up. I think 2 touchdowns is a reasonable line.
New England -13.5
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Here is a game that's interesting. Jacksonville should have been better then they were against Buffalo and could've lost that game. We also have Pittsburgh with no Antonio Brown. If Antonio Brown returns which it looks like he should then Big Ben and his weapons will destroy the Jaguars!
With the status of Brown unknown as of yet I will take the Steelers but only by a touchdown.
Pittsburgh -6.5
New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings
The saints were able to hold against the Panthers but there defence wasn't all that good as they allowed the Panthers to score a substantial amount of points. In this game with the Saints on the road and Minnesota's defence as strong as they are I will side with the Vikings.
I'm going to take my chances and roll with the Vikings here as they are playing at home and will force Bree's to throw and he is not as good on the road. If they shut down the run and cover Thomas and Ginn they will win the game. Minnesota by a field goal seems reasonable to me for now.
Minnesota -2.5
