The phenom called Roger Federer
Just when I thought that the great man couldn’t surprise me anymore, here is Roger Federer as the new World No. 1 at the age of 36. Absolutely unbelievable! And who would have thought!
What Roger has accomplished this year has been nothing short of magical. After winning his 20th Grand Slam title last month at the Australian Open, Roger is now officially the best tennis player in the world at the moment. Is there anything this man can’t do? Like the finest of wines he ages gracefully every year and his tennis becomes more and more legendary. It is just a surreal experience watching him fill stadium after stadium, beat opponent after opponent, win title after title and break record after record as if time has stood still, as if it’s still the glorious 2000s, as if Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic never happened.
Tennis couldn’t have gotten a better ambassador that’s for sure. I feel truly blessed to have witnessed the career of the great man in all its entirety.

You are absolutely right. He is a phenomenon. A lot of people wrote him off a few years ago but he has proven all his critics wrong and had an incredible resurgence.
