Steph sets a NBA finals record!
Lastnight it seemed like the Warriors couldn’t put the Cavs away. Warriors would go up by 13 then the Cavs would chop it down to 5. The Cavs even outscored the Warriors in the 3rd quarter which never happens. Then Steph Curry happened. He had the most ridiculous circus shot from the parking lot as the shot clock was expiring. He was dancing and shimming all over the court. Steph finished the night with a game high 33 points. Oh yeah, he also set a finals record for most 3 pointers in a game with 9. You can tell he wants this finals MVP. Klay Thompson is nursing a high ankle sprain and still played 33 minutes and scored 20 points. The Warriors are up 2-0 and we will probably see them close it out in 5. The only thing is that the Cavs role players do play a lot better at home. I don’t see the Cavs taking both games at home. This series will go back to Golden State 3-1. The Warriors will be looking to close it out at home game 5 just like last year.
One of the funniest parts about it all is Kendrick Perkins may be to blame for being the catalyst that sparked Steph's 4th quarter onslaught. Perkins and Curry got into an argument when Kendrick refused to move his feet out of the way while sitting on the bench at the end of the 3rd quarter. That may have been the adrenaline rush Curry needed, which he then used to build a commanding lead that helped the Warriors win game 2.
